| Project Manager |
 |
Primary interface between end customer and project team. Responsible for project plans, change management, schedule changes, deliverable completion, project status, etc. Experience in gathering customer business requirements is desirable. Communications skills, both written and oral, are critical. Previous project management experience in a data warehouse environment employing Teradata is a must. |

| Technical Lead |
 |
Senior Teradata knowledgeable person with extensive experience in implementing Teradata solutions. Responsible for setting direction of the development team, setting standards, defining the architecture for data access and ETL, defining Physical data base architecture, defining test plan strategies and steps, etc.. Must be able to provide task estimates to project management. Familiarity with the Teradata TSM development methodology is desirable. |

| Logical Modeling |
|
|
 |
Responsible for gathering the necessary data requirements and business rules associated with a subject area and articulate them using standard data modeling tools such as Erwin. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to facilitate group sessions comprised of both business and IT users. Must also be able to conduct on-on-one interviews to gather requirements. A solid understanding of modeling principles such as denormalization, subtype/supertype, etc. is required. Must have proven experience. Experience must be tied to the industry of the customer. Previous work with one or more of Teradata’s industry models is desirable. |

| ETL Design and Development |
|
 |
Designer must be able to document overall ETL design and support decisions. Responsible for defining ETL approach, audits and controls, restartability, error handling. Must have strong knowledge of Teradata utilities, Teradata SQL and implications of Teradata utility choices. Must be able to write code specifications, test plans, etc. Optionally, may be required to have experience with an off-the-shelf ETL tool such as Informatica, DataStage, Ab Initio etc. |

| BI Design and Development |

Designer must be able to document overall Business Intelligence design and support decisions. Responsible for defining BI approach, determining where processing will take place, define Service levels where necessary. Must be able to create the proper environment within the chosen BI tool. Must have solid understanding of Teradata SQL and the report creation features of Teradata BTEQ utility, along with experience with a BI tool such as BusinessObjects, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Brio, etc. |

An application DBA is responsible for supporting the development of Teradata ETL and Business Intelligence applications. Responsibilities include; Database object creation (tables, views, etc.), Security management (AccessRights, Roles, Profiles), Space Management, Physical Database design, code reviews, etc. Must have a solid understanding of Teradata SQL and Teradata administrative procedures. |

A System DBA is responsible for the overall operation of the Teradata system. Responsibilities include; System monitoring using Teradata Manager, experience with Teradata tools such as DBQL, TDQM, Priority Scheduler, etc. Must be able to execute Teradata utilities such as DBS Control, Ferret, DumpLockLog, etc. Should be familiar with one or more of the Teradata Backup and Recovery facilities, including packaged products such as NetVault. |

| Performance Tuning |
|
 |
Responsible for supporting DBAs and developers to improve query and ETL performance. A strong understanding of the Teradata parser and ability to read and understand EXPLAIN is required. Must understand Teradata physical database design principles, index selection, secondary index choices, statistics, etc. Ability to document recommendations and support them is critical. Should have strong knowledge of regression testing principles to assure that performance changes haven’t impacted other applications. |
